A 22ª edição do Campeonato Mundial Júnior de Mergulho da FINA, um evento realizado regularmente desde 1977 (primeira edição em Woodlands, EUA), começa hoje em Kiev (UKR) e será realizado até domingo 29 de julho.

O Campeonato Mundial Júnior deste ano é um evento de qualificação para os próximos Jogos Olímpicos da Juventude, a ter lugar em Buenos Aires (ARG) em outubro de 2018.

Jovens mergulhadores de mais de 40 países, um novo recorde de frequência, estarão competindo em um total de 16 eventos em duas faixas etárias diferentes:Grupo A 16, 17, 18 anos e Grupo B 14, 15 anos.

22ND FINA WORLD JUNIOR DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS
FINA DIVING YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT

The 22nd edition of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships, an event held regularly since 1977 (first edition in Woodlands, USA), is kicking-off today in Kyiv (UKR) and will be held until Sunday July 29.

This year’s Junior World Championships are a qualifying event for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games, to take place in Buenos Aires (ARG) in October 2018.

Young divers from over 40 countries, a new record of attendance, will be competing in a total of 16 events in two different age groups: Group A 16, 17, 18 years old & Group B 14, 15 years old.
